About Flight Token

Built by Pilots for Real Operations.

Flight Token was built by a working ATP who got tired of preflight tools that only handled half the job — especially manifests.

ATP Helicopter Comm SEL Airplane CFII Gold Seal Part 135 Charter

I fly helicopters and airplanes for real — ATP heli, commercial SEL, CFII Gold Seal — and I've done the work on both sides of the industry: Part 135 charter ops and day-to-day instruction at a flight school I'm still active in today. Weight and balance was never the bottleneck. Manifests were. Every app I tried handled a slice of preflight — load here, performance there, paperwork somewhere else — and none of it felt fast or trustworthy when the clock was running. Flight Token is what I wished existed: one workflow for load, performance, and manifest records that I'd actually reach for before a real flight, not fight with at the ramp.

Why we built it

Manifests were always the weak link.

Load and performance tools existed. Getting a clean, usable manifest out the door — digital or PDF — never felt that fast or that integrated. Flight Token closes that gap in one workflow.

Operational background

Built from charter, instruction, and daily flying — not a whiteboard.

Part 135 taught me what crews need under pressure. Flight instruction keeps the product honest about clarity, speed, and what actually gets used in the aircraft. That mix shapes every decision in the app.

  • Helicopter ATP and fixed-wing commercial experience in one product vision.
  • Gold Seal CFII perspective on what students and working pilots need to see clearly.
  • Still flying and teaching — the app gets tested against real preflight, not hypotheticals.
Why it exists

One workflow when you are out of time and out of patience.

The breaking point was always the same: load done, performance checked, then a manifest flow that felt like a separate product — slow, fragmented, or not worth opening on the device you already had in your hand. Flight Token puts all three in one place so the whole preflight record takes seconds, not a patchwork of apps.

  • Bring load, performance, and manifest records into one workflow instead of forcing crews to jump between separate tools.
  • Keep the product usable on the devices pilots actually carry, including workflows that still matter during flight.
  • Make the core process fast enough to become a several-second load, performance, and manifest record workflow.
