I fly helicopters and airplanes for real. I hold an ATP Helicopter rating, a Commercial certificate for single-engine land, and a Gold Seal CFII. My background spans both sides of the industry — Part 141 chief and Part 135 instructor experience, plus management and flight instruction at a school where I’m still active today.
Weight and balance was never the real problem. The tools were. One app carried almost every airframe but stopped at weight and balance — and did even that in the most primitive way. Another added performance, but when I looked closely at the math behind some of the biggest names on the market, I found calculation errors I couldn’t ignore. And none of them treated the load manifest as anything more than an afterthought, when it’s the record a working operation actually has to keep.
I know firsthand what it’s like to stand at the ramp on a Part 91 or 135 flight, loading passengers with the clock running, needing certainty that the aircraft is within CG before committing to the flight. I also know what it’s like to need performance numbers again in the cockpit — where most of these tools are barely usable. That moment doesn’t allow for a slow app, a patchwork of tools, or a calculation you can’t fully trust.
Flight Token was built to close that gap. Select your aircraft from a growing fleet, load it, check performance, and generate a compliant manifest — all in the time it takes to load the aircraft. It’s built to meet the standards of Part 91, 135, and 141 operations, and built for the people flying under them: CFIs running stage checks, students preparing for checkrides, and charter pilots who need a fast, dependable answer before every flight. And it runs everywhere you do — iPhone, iPad, or Android — the only app in this space that covers them all.
I built Flight Token because I needed it to exist. If you fly for a living, you’re training to, you own your own aircraft, or you just need solid numbers before a flight — this is built for you.
