Frequently asked questions
Flight Token, Answered.
What the app does, which aircraft it supports, how pricing works, and how it fits everything from a single
pilot to a full operation.
What is the best aircraft weight and balance app?
A strong weight and balance app should do more than basic math. Flight Token combines visible weight and
balance, performance with one-tap weather sync, and digital or PDF manifests in one workflow — so you are
not jumping between separate tools before a flight.
What do I get in the app?
Weight and balance, performance with one-tap weather sync, and digital or PDF load manifests in one app —
imperial or metric throughout, with built-in conversion tools when you need them. Plans change aircraft and
fleet scale, not the core workflow.
What aircraft are supported?
Robinson R22 and R44 configurations, the Bell 206B3 (weight and balance), and Cessna 172 variants today,
with more added over time. See the supported airframes page, or request your
aircraft through support.
How is it different from other weight and balance tools?
It is one operational workflow instead of a single-purpose calculator — weight and balance, performance,
manifests, conversions, and fleet tools together, so crews are not stitching apps and paper together.
Is it for one pilot or a full operation?
Both. Start with one aircraft, build a personal fleet, or connect to a shared company fleet. The crew plan
adds centralized billing and seat management for schools and operators.
Is it free, or what does it cost?
Free for one aircraft with the full core workflow. Individual paid plans are $2.49/mo or $23.99/yr for
unlimited aircraft, fleet tools, and digital manifests. Crew pricing is $20 per seat per year, company-paid.
See pricing.
Can I start free and upgrade later?
Yes. Start free with one aircraft, then move to a paid individual plan when you need unlimited aircraft,
fleet tools, or digital load manifests.
Can a pilot connect to a company fleet later?
Yes. A pilot can start individually and connect to a company fleet whenever a school or operator builds out
a shared fleet workflow.
How is the crew plan different?
The crew plan is the company-paid option for teams. It adds seat management, centralized billing, and
shared company fleet access on top of the same core workflow.
How does billing and cancellation work?
Individual subscriptions are handled in-app and renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off in the
App Store or Google Play. Crew seats are billed to the company through Stripe. Questions go to
support@flighttokenapp.com.
Does it support imperial and metric units?
Yes — imperial or metric throughout, with built-in conversion tools for fuel, weight, and other common
aviation unit changes.
Who built Flight Token?
A working ATP helicopter and commercial airplane pilot, Gold Seal CFII, with Part 135 charter and active
flight-school experience. Read the full story.
